The Golden Years: YYES designed the 100-page, 10˝x10˝ coffee table book, One Hundred: Portraits of Centinarians. Published by non-profit fine art publisher Push Press, the book features photography by AIA photographer of the year John Gillan and won the Asuka Book Award.

Tea-Party Favor: Each exquisite, custom-made gift box features embossed silk and contains a set of engraved, art deco-inspired personal stationery including monarch sheets, monogrammed seals, note cards, and envelopes.

Just What the Neighborhood Needed. YYES worked with maverick restaurateur Anthony Jones to develop the look of Mode, his new 24-hour downtown L.A. hotspot. The restaurant’s identity had to capture the sophistication of its upscale French cuisine while keeping one eye on the playful nature of its all-night crowd. From menus to matchbooks to media, Mode has become a brand.

Into the Deep End: Just in time for summer, YYES finalizes the Huntington Pools identity package based around the concept of old-money, California craftsman homes in the Pasadena neighborhoods where Huntington typically works.
Gilbert Papers recognized the package with an Outstanding Design Award, and YYES now has a Led Zeppelin Presence-quality obelisk to show off.
