Photographer Dan Monick photographed Atmosphere and the Rhymesayers for seven years, documenting their rise from an unknown Minneapolis hip-hop collective to one of the most followed and successful independent hip-hop acts in the nation.

The result was a 2011 AIGA Minnesota award winner in the Book and Publication category. Seven, a framework for showcasing the Rhymesayers photographic story brought to life through Dan Monick’s images with design by YYES and driven home by designers Kai Benson aka MK Larada and Andy Lund.
