Using artwork by contemporary pop artist Ron English, YYES created packaging and marketing materials for the sophomore release from Pretendo, a New York-based band is comprised of former members of Skeleton Key, The Rugburns, and Creedle. The band’s name led to visual cues from video game packaging, with typography from some long-shuttered ’60s space program.
